The Association of the Moroccan Initiative for Science and Thought received pictures that concretely prove the validity of the statement of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Morocco regarding the confirmation of the sighting of the crescent on Sunday evening, August 12, 2018, which is considered the day of sighting the crescent of Dhu al-Hijjah in the Kingdom of Morocco, as it is the 29th of Dhu al-Qi`dah 1439 AH.

These pictures are from different Moroccan cities from the north to the south. The association also observed the crescent with the Awqaf and Islamic Affairs delegation in Nador.
